Brandermill Boating Center will open for the season on May 23, 2026!
The Brandermill Boating Center offers residents seasonal vessel rentals for use on Swift Creek Reservoir. It’s a great way to enjoy the water during the summer months. The Boating Center serves as a hub for waterfront recreation in Sunday Park and provides concessions on weekends and holidays throughout the summer season.
Please note: The Boating Center and all boating services are for Brandermill residents only.

The Brandermill Boating Center is located at the dock in Sunday Park.
Season & Hours of Operation
2026 Season: May 23 – September 7
The boating center is fully staffed and open on the following holidays, even if they fall on a weekday: Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day.
Monday – Friday
- The Boating Center is not staffed
- Rentals and services are available by reservation only
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rentals
- No same-day reservations
Saturday – Sunday
- The Boating Center is fully staffed
- Concessions are open from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted for concessions
- Walk-up rentals may be available, subject to equipment availability, including the holidays listed above.
Rentals

| Sunfish, Canoe, Kayak, & Jon Boat | $30 for 2 hrs / $50 for all day |
| American (large) Sailboat | $50 for 2 hrs / $75 for all day |
Passenger capacity for each vessel is determined by weight and is generally limited to 450 pounds. All rentals must be returned 30 minutes prior to closing time (5:00 PM). When a rental is reserved, a staff member will meet residents at the Boating Center to assist with access and will return at the end of the reserved time to secure equipment as needed.
How to Rent
Monday – Friday (by reservation only)

2. A payment link will be sent to you directly once confirmed availability, date, and time.
3. Bring payment confirmation with you on the day of your rental.
Saturday – Sunday (first come, first-served)
Walk-up rentals may be available, subject to equipment availability, including on holidays.
