Aquatics Classes
Looking for a fun and effective way to stay active this summer? Brandermill residents can sign up for aquatics classes held at the Harbour Pointe Pool. Whether you are a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just getting started, these classes are a great way to move your body, build strength, and connect with neighbors!
Class Offered: Hi/Lo Water Aerobics
Hi/Lo is a low-impact but high-intensity interval training water aerobics class. No swimming skills are needed. This class is designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone, and cardiovascular endurance, all while using the natural resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees, and back.

2026 Dates: June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 July 20, 27 August 3, 10, 17 (no classes on July 6 and 13)
Pricing and Registration
$8 per class | $80 for the full session (10 classes)

Meet Your Instructor: Julie Abell

With 34 years of experience teaching water and land fitness, Julie brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every class. She has taught a variety of formats over the years, helping participants of all ages and fitness levels improve strength, mobility, endurance, and confidence in the water.
Julie’s own journey into water fitness began while recovering from a gymnastics injury, when she discovered firsthand how effective yet gentle aquatic exercise can be. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for teaching and helping others enjoy the many benefits of moving in the water. She is excited to bring fun, safe, and energizing classes to the Brandermill community.
