FREE Firewood Giveaway!

About: Warm Up with Free Firewood! Brandermill residents are invited to receive free firewood on Saturday, February 21, 2026!
Staff will be on site at North Beach Pool from 10:00 AM until all wood has been distributed, giving back to the community. The firewood comes from trees that were removed due to being dead, dying, or unsafe. Rather than incurring disposal costs, the wood is being shared with the community it came from.
Each household will receive a set amount and variety of wood, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents should have a Brandermill hangtag or resident identification ready. An approved tree vendor will be on site to assist with cutting and loading at no cost to residents.
If any wood remains after the initial distribution, the community will be notified. This event is planned to become an annual tradition, known as Free February Firewood! This program is just the beginning, we “MAY” repeat the fun!
This initiative allows the BCA to reduce tree management costs while offering residents a supply of firewood for their fireplaces and fire pits.
