Paula Peaden bio: Paula Peaden is a highly respected attorney specializing in Trust and Estate Planning, Elder Law, Long-Term Care, Disability Planning, and Special Needs Trusts. Recognized for her expertise, she was named Richmond’s Best Elder Lawyer by Best Lawyers in America® and honored as the 2022 Virginia Lawyer of the Year by peer recognition. Paula’s impressive credentials include being listed in Virginia Super Lawyers and receiving the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Before becoming a lawyer, Paula worked as a registered nurse after earning a BSN from Mount St. Mary’s College. She holds a law degree from Antonin Scalia Law School and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Special Needs Alliance, and the Estate Planning Council of Richmond. She has authored several publications on trusts and estate planning, contributing to respected legal journals and books.
