February Boat Auction

The BCA will be auctioning off boats that have been discarded over the past year. According to the Boating Rules, any boats that are abandoned or towed are discarded after 30 days. Photos, descriptions, starting bids, and a unique code for each boat will be available on this page soon. Please check back for updates.

Auction Dates:

  • Bidding opens: February 10
  • Bidding closes: 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 1

How to Bid:

All bids must be submitted in writing and include the following information:

  • Name
  • Brandermill property address
  • Phone number and email
  • Bid amount
  • Code of the boat (will be provided here)

If you are bidding on more than one boat, please include the code and bid amount for each.

Bids should be placed in a sealed envelope and dropped into the locked box located by the front door of the BCA office. All bids must meet or exceed the starting bid. Boats will be assigned to the highest submitted bid for each item.

Bidders selected to receive a boat will be contacted by BCA staff and must submit payment within 48 hours. If payment is not received within 48 hours, the boat will be offered to the next highest bid.

Payment Methods:

  • Money order
  • Cashier’s check
  • Personal check
  • Credit card (convenience fees apply)

Checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks should be made payable to Brandermill Community Association (please spell out the full name; do not use “BCA”).

After payment is received, a staff member will meet you at Lock Storage for boat pickup. Boats must be removed immediately from the Lock Storage area.
