Holiday House Competition – Deck the Halls and Win Prizes!
DATES:
- Tuesday, November 25th: Participants may begin decorating or submit photos for the Home for the Holidays category.
- Friday, November 28th: Last day to enter the competition.
- Friday, December 12th: Last day to submit photos for the Home for the Holidays category.
- Tuesday, December 16th: Judging will happen. Please have lights on by 5:00 PM.
- Friday, December 19th: Winners will be announced.
CATEGORIES:
- Griswold Award: Go big or go home! The boldest, brightest, and most over-the-top display.
- Santa’s Favorites: Show off the best Santa-themed decorations and spread holiday cheer!
- Misfit Toys: Most creative use of inflatables—let your imagination run wild!
- Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer: The most unique and unexpected display that stands out from the rest!
- Grand Entrance: The most festive and inviting entryway or front porch display!
- Home for the Holidays: Submit up to three photos of your decorated interior home spaces for a chance to win! This new category is perfect for those who love to showcase their indoor holiday creativity. Only one category entry per home is allowed. Send entries to [email protected].
ABOUT: Get ready to spread some holiday cheer with the Holiday House Competition! Brandermill residents will have the opportunity to decorate their homes in one of five exciting categories for a chance to win awesome prizes! Show off your holiday spirit and creativity for a chance to win a special award in your category.
RULES & GUIDELINES:
- Decorations must not block sidewalks, traffic signs, or streets.
- Electrical cords should be rated for outdoor use and safely secured.
- Avoid flammable or hazardous materials.
- Only decorate your own property. Do not decorate common property.
- Keep decorations tasteful and family-friendly.
- Participants must be current residents of Brandermill.
- All listed dates and deadlines must be strictly followed.
- Each household may submit only one entry in one category. A household cannot enter both an indoor and an outdoor category. Only one resident per household needs to register.
- There will be one winner per category, with a single prize awarded to each winner.
