How to Start an Interest Group
Brandermill Interest Groups
An Interest Group is a gathering of residents with shared interests. Once a group reaches 8 sign-ups and has a volunteer leader, a start-up meeting will be scheduled. With enough interest and participation, the group may eventually become a chartered club.
How to Create Your Own Interest Group
To start a new Interest Group, complete the Interest Group Application. The form will request your contact information and details about the group, including its description, meeting schedule, location, and estimated number of members. Submit the completed application to the Lifestyle Director at Jonathan.Sharp@fsresidential.com.
BCA staff will review each application to confirm that a similar group does not already exist and that the association can accommodate the requested meeting dates and times.
Once approved, the resident organizer will be responsible for conducting meetings, coordinating activities, and communicating with members and BCA. BCA will assist with promoting group meetings and events. Applicants will also receive a set of guidelines for forming Interest Groups, along with information about the process for becoming an official club after six months.
Residents are encouraged to apply for additional groups at any time. BCA looks forward to expanding its Interest Groups in 2026 with the help of our talented and engaged community members!
