An August 8 joy ride at Brandermill Country Club around 1 to 1:30 a.m. once again has caused damage to golf course greens. Police are investigating tire tracks left on the greens of holes 1 and 16 that appear to be from a small truck or SUV.

According to Golf Course Superintendent Eddy Grattini, the incident is the third time in two months that the golf course has been vandalized. The new tire tracks are consistent with damage incurred on the course a month ago. Grattini estimates the cost of last week’s damage to be $10,600. The cost of damage in the two previous incidents amounts to $27,200.

Anyone who has information about the recent destruction of BCC property is asked to call the police non-emergency number 748-1251.
