Sherwin-Williams paint store has been around for 147 years, but only recently moved to Brandermill. On May 1, doors to the new store opened at 13220 Hull Street Road in the former Lakeside Appliance location across the parking lot from Wells Fargo Bank.
Formerly operating as Duron Paints in Oxbridge Square Shopping Center, the paint store was relocated with its existing staff, including Store Manager Justin Adams, Color Consultant Melissa Morris and Javier Reyes-Gutierrez, who is fluent in Spanish for the convenience of Spanish-speaking customers. “We held an open house for commercial painters,” says Adams, “and had a great turnout.” He now invites residents to the Grand Opening on Saturday, August 10.
In addition to Sherwin-Williams and Duron brand name paint, the store carries a wide assortment of painting supplies and wall coverings. According to Adams, there are plans to hold community seminars on faux finishing and wall coverings.
“We consider Brandermill a prime retail area,” says Assistant Manager Larry Pope. “We carry quality paints and look forward to advising residents on their painting needs.”
The store is open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
