CHHS 5k run to benefit kids with cancer

On Saturday, November 17, the CHHS Outreach Varsity Club will host its second annual Dunkin’ Donuts Munchkins 5K Run to benefit local kids with cancer.
The family-friendly event will start at 11 a.m. at CHHS, 13301 Kelly Green Lane, and will feature Munchkin donut holes before, during and after the run, along with other perks for participants.
Bryce Badura, founder of the race, and president of the Varsity Outreach Club, organized the race as a tribute to his fourth-grade friend who was diagnosed with brain cancer.
Last year, over 500 runners were attracted to the event which raised over $10,000 for the ASK foundation. Since last year’s race sold out early, those interested are encouraged to register early at donutrun.org.
