Life Coach Liz Palmieri-Coonley discovered the hard way that being healthy involves more than diet and exercise.
For 10 years, Palmieri-Coonley’s weight yo-yoed up and down within an 80-pound range. She struggled with depression and anxiety and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and a mild case of Crohn’s disease. It was not until she found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition that she can now say she is living life pain free; has more energy; and has lost 30 pounds without dieting.
Working out of her Garrison Place home, Palmieri-Coonley’s operates Healthy Living with Liz coaching individuals during a six-month program on how they may live a happier and healthier life. She helps her clients reach their health goals by reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, maximizing energy and achieving optimal weight.
Palmieri-Coonley received her training as a health coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She studied under Dr. Andrew Weil, director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, a leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, chair of nutrition at Harvard University and Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating.
“My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching and preventive health,” says
Palmieri-Coonley. “Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.”
To introduce her Healthy Living with Liz program to Brandermill residents, Palmieri-Coonley is offering residents a free 50-minute health consultation. “It’s an opportunity to be heard and to get a sense of what it feels like to have more support in their lives.”
Palmieri-Coonley is a life-long resident of Brandermill and lives in Garrison Place. She may be reached at 804-405-3705 or firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information please visit www.healthylivingwithliz.com or follow her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/healthylivingwithliz.
