Shopping for others can often be difficult – what size, what color, what style to buy? Michelle Ellis, owner of Bass-Kets by Design can help. Ellis has been designing gift baskets for more than 17 years. She had always dreamed of turning her creative passion into a business of her own, and now the dream is coming true. Ellis currently runs her business out of her Sagewood home, but looks forward to the day she will open a shop in the Brandermill area. A visit to Elllis’ website shows a wide range of basket designs and balloons for all occasions. “Everyone has a different style or taste,” says Ellis, who wants to please everyone. “If you see a basket you like but it is not quite to your taste,” she says, “let me know and I will build the basket to your taste.”
Her business name, Bass-Kets by Design honors her parents, Sharon and Herman Bass, who taught her to believe in herself and others, and find ways to give back. Ellis is incorporating those values into her business. For every three purchases from Bass-Kets by Design, the fourth order of equal or lesser value is free – only delivery costs apply and some delivery areas are free. Ellis may be reached at 586-7149 or by email at info@bass-ketsbydesign.com. To view her basket creations, please visit http://bass-ketsbydesign.com.
