Police seek victims of unlawful filmingPosted August 17, 2012 at 6:25 PM, Filed Under: Front Page, Village Mill
Chesterfield County police are working to identify several women whose images were found on a recording device recovered during the investigation of Craig L. Kirkpatrick, 40, of 5700 block of Harbour Ridge Road. He was arrested and charged on May 15 with unlawful filming of another and assault.
At that time, police said the victim, a 21-year-old female, discovered what appeared to be a recording device in a bathroom at the residence of Kirkpatrick, her personal trainer. The victim took the recording device and left the house. Before the victim could leave the area in her vehicle, Kirkpatrick confronted her and took the recording device from her.
With the assistance of the Virginia State Police Computer Evidence Recovery Section, Chesterfield County police have recovered video recordings from the device used by Kirkpatrick in the May incident. In addition to video of the original victim, police have located other videos and pictures of women who they have not been able to identify.
In an attempt to identify these women, police are asking that any women who have been in Kirkpatrick's home or gym contact the Chesterfield County Police Department at 748-1268.
