Hearing on HP polling place is August 22

The old Clover Hill High School on Hull Street Road can no longer serve as the polling place for Harbour Pointe residents because of renovations underway on the building.

After considerable effort to find a new polling place, the registrar and electoral board officials are requesting that the polling place for Harbour Pointe Voting Precinct be moved to The Brandermill Church at 4500 Millridge Parkway, where church
officials have agreed to allow the facility to serve as the polling place.

In order to effect this change, the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing and adopt the ordinance.

The public hearing is set for August 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the public meeting room of the Chesterfield County Administration Building at 10001 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Va. Citizens who are affected by the change, may appear and express their opinions on the matter.
