Join friends and neighbors on Wednesday, July 4, for a full day of festivities honoring Brandermill residents who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. This year, our
Brandermill Super Heroes will participate in the parade and at an honor ceremony in Sunday Park.

The day begins at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Clover Hill High School with the 2012 Brandermill 7.4K. Race participants will follow the scenic trails and roads of the Brandermill community. Proceeds from the 7.4K will benefit the American Cancer Society. To sign up for the 2012 Brandermill 7.4K, please visit www.brandermillrace.com. (See more info on the race on page 10.)

The Brandermill Fourth of July parade begins at Swift Creek Middle School at 10 a.m. and winds its way through Brandermill neighborhoods to Sunday Park, where the festivities begin at 11 a.m. with free hotdogs and soda, a DJ, facepainting, a diving tank, clowns and more. Those who wish to march in the parade and be judged must complete an entry form, available at www.brandermill.com under “Documents and Forms” and then “Activities.” Registration forms must be submitted Friday, June 29 at 5 p.m.

To close the day-long celebration, the ever-popular fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m. at Sunday Park with a spectacular display over Swift Creek Reservoir.
