Annual Father’s Day Concert—Sunday, June 17 at 6 p.m. at The Gardens at Sunday Park. The Richmond Philharmonic will perform a selection of music sure to please the whole family, from Mary Poppins to Louis Armstrong songs. Free to Brandermill residents and a guest.

Water Aerobics Class at Harbour Pointe Pool—a 7-week class, a cool and refreshing summer workout. Tuesdays and Thursdays, from June 19 to August 2 at 9:30 a.m. $40 for Brandermill pools members, $50 for nonmembers. Registration is required.

Basic Standup Paddle Boarding—Saturdays, June 30 or July 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brandermill Sailing Center. Learn the hot new water sport from Black Dog Paddle instructors. For ages 12 and older. $69 per person and includes board rental. Registration is required.

Creatures of the Night Family Cruises—Monday, June 25 and Thursday, July 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Sunday Park Dock. Bring your binoculars and discover creatures that live in Swift Creek Reservoir. Nature guide Darleen Stigall will identify reservoir inhabitants as they are settling in for the night. $5 per person. Registration is required.

Brandermill Green Market—Saturdays through October in Market Square, from 9 a.m. to noon. Shop local! Lots of vendors offer organic foods, baked goodies, wine, flowers and more.

BranderBelle Cruises—through October. Tour Swift Creek Reservoir on the BranderBelle pontoon boat, piloted by a captain. Cruises may be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Reservations and payment must be made five days in advance at the BCA office, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

No-Reservation BranderBelle Cruises—Saturdays, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Boat limit is 13 people, first-come basis. $5 cash per person. Wander down to Sunday Park with a friend and start the day with a scenic cruise on Swift Creek Reservoir.

Brandermill Sailing Center—Thursday through Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. through September 3. Meet Captain Bob Monroe and his staff at the sailing center and rent paddleboats, sailboats, kayaks, canoes, jon boats, trolling motors, and all you will need to enjoy a day on Swift Creek Reservoir.
