Leigh Ann Miles marries Chad Jackson

Dr. Leigh Ann Miles and Dr. Chad Jackson, both of Nashville, Tenn., were married at First Baptist Church at Centralia in Chester, Va., on April 14.

Dr. Miles is the daughter of Peggy and Willie Miles of Eastbluff. Dr. Jackson is the son of Valerie and Norman Jackson of Xenia, Ohio.

Dr. Wilson Shannon officiated the ceremony.

Dr. Miles was given in marriage by her father. Her sister, Dr. Jennifer Miles-Thomas of Williamsburg, Va., served as matron of honor. Norman Jackson of Xenia, Ohio served his son as best man.

A reception was held at the Bull and Bear Club in Richmond, Va.

After a Caribbean cruise to Turks and Caicos, the couple resides in Nashville, Tenn.

The couple earned Ph.D. degrees in pharmacology from Emory University and both are employed as associate researchers at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
