At the July 6 BCA Board meeting, Community Architect Doug Greene outlined proposed projects that have come before the Commercial Architectural Review Board (CARB) this year.

Plans for Primrose School, a 10,600-square-foot daycare and preschool center to be located at the intersection of Waterford Lake Drive and Tredegar Lake Parkway were approved at the April CARB meeting.

Plans for a Waterford medical office park on 4.4 acres on Tredegar Lake Parkway across from the Virginia Credit Union were approved in June. Present plans call for the facility to consist of three one-story buildings measuring 6,800 square feet, 8,500 square feet, and 10,000 square feet. Space at two of the buildings has already been leased.

The ARB has reviewed a conceptual plan regarding Marva Marble at the intersection of Genito and Old Hundred Roads to convert the existing office/warehouse building, and add a 9,700-square-foot building to create retail and office space that will front Old Hundred Road and back up to East Boundary Terrace.
